Watercolour Sketchbook

Flatback binding is an early 20^th century method development where books are finished with flat spines rather than the traditional curved.

This watercolour book has 60 pages of Bockingford watercolour paper, a beautiful English high-quality paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthbert’s Mill. It is made using pure materials to archival standards and has excellent colour lifting abilities. Its attractive surface is created using natural woollen felts that give it a distinctive random texture.
